The Heart of My Practicum
I am currently a student counsellor at Orca Institute, completing my practicum under clinical supervision. This means while I am still learning, I am deeply supported in providing you the best care possible.
Learning to regulate our emotions isn't something we do in a vacuum. Throughout our lives, we find safety and connection through the presence of others.
My practice is rooted in a person-centred, parts-informed, and trauma-informed framework. I love using creative approaches to help you express what words sometimes can't. I hold space for the full complexity of your experience, ensuring you never have to navigate the hard stuff alone. In this room, your pace is the only pace that matters, and your unique nervous system is respected exactly as it is today.
Values
No two people arrive at therapy with the same needs, which is why I don't use a one-size-fits-all map. I am especially drawn to working with neurodivergent individuals, those navigating the weight of chronic or misunderstood health conditions, and anyone wading through the messy middle of a major life transition.
My role isn't to be the expert who fixes you; it's to be a grounded companion. I bring a gentle curiosity to our sessions, looking at how your patterns have served you and what is trying to be heard beneath the surface. Whether you are dealing with the exhaustion of masking or the disorientation of a life that looks different than you planned, I am here to walk with you.
I offer a friendly, non-judgmental environment where you don't have to perform or 'do therapy right.' We will simply have real, human conversations, using a creative and trauma-sensitive lens to help you come home to yourself. You are the expert of your story, and I am honored to support you as you navigate your way through it, one step at a time.
